New house, Batcombe, Somerset

We have designed a new house which is cut into the sloping landscape and echoes the simple shapes of the vernacular farm buildings The scheme, which was granted planning permission on appeal, has a green roof.

The Forge, Batcombe, Somerset

This was a residential development in a prominent village location where the design depended on issues of height, proportion and use of materials. The house was built behind the derelict remnants of the old Forge and this generated the overall scheme.

New house, Thames Ditton, Surrey

This house, on a small sensitive site in Thames Ditton Conservation Area was designed to reflect, but not copy, the Edwardian houses which form the street. The coach house design was supported by the Conservation Officer and received acclaim from local residents.
