University of Bath
Extension to the Senior Common Room

This a small extension to the original 1970's University Senior Common Room. We chose not to use the existing materials for the new work, instead opting for a modern but under played aesthetic. The proportions and detailing is very important as the new extension is extremely exposed, overlooking the main landscaped areas.

Churchill Medical Centre
Kingston upon Thames

The Churchill Medical Centre was formed from two semi detached Victorian houses which had many major problems for healthcare use such as differing ground levels and poor access directly from the main road. Our solution was to turn the axis of the building 180o entering from what was the rear gardens. The design manipulates the existing buildings so that the new scheme feels like a completely new health centre.

St Albans Road Medical Centre
Kingston upon Thames

This was another reconstruction and remodelling of a Victorian building to provide a modern health centre. We provided completely new access and waiting room facilities together with two additional consulting rooms in a new extension.
